Anyone ever have a problem with not being able to change your desktop settings in your display properties? Like I set a new image as my background. Now I was to make it centered instead of tiled. Then I have the problem of the widow to change these things being grayed out so I cant click on shit. Seems very weird to me. I haven't really done any digging around to try and fix it. Just curious if you cats know whats up.

You have a virus, format your computer and then burn it.

But really, have you tried just setting a different picture and seeing what happens?

Oh yeah, if it's pirated that would be the obvious solution. Being a student makes me forget people pirate OSes lol.

I had this problem on my old desktop.

What I did was:

Control Panel --> Display --> Settings

Then change you resolution to something lower than it is now, confirm it. Then change it back to was it was originally.

Now, shut your comp down, turn it on its side, and open up the side door to your case. Then, CAREFULLY pour orange juice on your motherboard (be sure to not miss any spots).

That fixed the problem for me.
