The board will be down for a few minutes during the actual update process.
We are very pleased to announce the availability of the phpBB 3.0.2 package. This version has seen numerous stability fixes, performance tweaks and general bugs fixed. Additionally one minor security-related bug was fixed.
With this release, we also re-introduced the code changes tutorial. Due to the different codebase in phpBB3, these are a lot bigger and a lot more complicated than they ever were in phpBB2 - also the reason why we introduced the automatic update package and automatic updater in phpBB, which is able to handle modded boards too by merging differences. We do not recommend the use of the code changes tutorial - those are meant for professional users and support teams to help assist users having problems while updating.
Please note that we urge you to update. The versions we currently support here are phpBB 2.0.23 and phpBB 3.0.2.

As you may know, many iue5 community members have been participating in the growing football simulation, Goal Line Blitz. iue5 just received a team in the Oceania A leagues after waiting several weeks. It is an expansion team in a new league, so we are currently in the process of building this team for success. The team has been named the "iue5 Sorcerers".
I'm the owner, but Asdlfef will be calling most of the shots since he has more experience with this than most of us. Xanatos will help with recruitment and Gobiz will be taking the helm at Offensive Coordinator. We'll also need a Defensive Coordinator, so please let me know if you're interested.
The OC and DC are allowed to appoint co-coordinators if they wish so it gives other people a chance to learn the system.

I have removed a stick of ram and turned on the GG server; so far it has been stable since Friday. Please attempt to get it populated with folks so it can get some good testing before I switch stuff around and try to break it to isolate the issue.
The pub server has been experiencing what seems to be hardware problems. I hope to fix it sometime in the next week, or at least get a good idea of what's causing it to crash several times a day.
Due to the lack of traffic on the classic server, it has been changed to be more competitive in nature. More money, shorter round times, CAL rotation maps, friendly fire, no weapon restrictions, higher tick rate, less slots, etc...
It was maxed out tonight for quite some time, so enjoy!
The iue5 Cubed team is set to attend the 13th Laclede's Lan this weekend in St. Louis.
The event runs all day Saturday, obviously we will be participating in the CS:S tournament and should be able to provide plenty of updates and pictures =).
There will be a long power outage at E5 this evening from 6pm-midnightish. I will need to power down the pubs and 13/14 man servers at 5pm when I leave the office and they won't be back up till Friday.
